The NEMHS Charitable Foundation provides community awareness and financial support to the Hospitals and Clinics of Northeast Montana Health Services and to NEMHS Faith Home which are all located in Wolf Point and Poplar, Montana.
During this changing and challenging time for healthcare; the NEMHS Charitable Foundation feels it is important to embrace philanthropic thinking within the local community.
The first Spikes & Spurs Gala fundraiser was held in the fall of 2005. It was so successful that hospital employees and community members then gathered and formed the Foundation in January of 2006. The purpose of the Foundation is to bring both communities of Wolf Point and Poplar together with a shared interest in the medical needs of the area. Their goal is to support the hospitals with fundraising and event gatherings to raise monies for equipment and services that otherwise would not be available in our community. Since conception, the Foundation has purchased over $400,000 worth of medical equipment and services for NEMHS.
The NEMHS Charitable Foundation is supported by a generous group of businesses and community members who understand the importance of quality health care. As they grow the culture of philanthropy, they depend on you - the donors - to continue your role in giving, asking and serving to improve the health and well-being of the community.
